Rebecca

Meet Rebecca, one of our Technician Assistants. She joined our team in the summer of 2019.

Do you have any nicknames?
I go by Becca, mostly, but friends and family usually call me Beccs.

In your words, what is your job at Beaverton Pet Clinic? Any special projects or responsibilities?

As a technician assistant, I perform many treatments as well as assist on surgeries/dental procedures. My favorite part, however, is creating a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.

Why did you decide to work at Beaverton Pet Clinic?

Before working at BPC, I worked in a pet hotel for three years. I always had a passion for animals and wanted to use my skills in a more helpful and productive manner. I decided I wanted to go into the vet field, and BPC was the first place I interviewed. I immediately fell in love with the field and haven’t looked back.

Do you have any pets? If so name/age/description. Any special skills or fun features?
I have a border collie mix named Kingsley and a chihuahua named Yondu. Kingsley is my sensitive little guy who needs a little extra TLC, where Yondu is a confident ball of energy who is too smart for his own good!

Tell us a (or several) little-known fact(s) about you!
I am originally from Southern California (I know, yuck)! It had been my life goal to move up to Oregon, and in the summer of 2019, I finally got the opportunity! I absolutely love living up here and can’t imagine being anywhere else.
