My real name is Amanda but I’ve always gone by Mandy 🙂

In your words, what is your job at Beaverton Pet Clinic? Any special projects or responsibilities?
My job is to create a warm and welcoming environment for all the pets and clients that walk through our door! I greet everyone at the door for their appointments, as well as handle scheduling, phone calls, emails, and all the other fun admin stuff.

Why did you decide to work at Beaverton Pet Clinic?
I worked at another vet clinic previously and after spending some time away from the veterinary field, I realized I couldn’t stay away! I’ve always loved animals and getting to see your lovely fur babies every day is the highlight of my job.

Do you have any pets? If so, name/age/description. Any special skills or fun features?
Yes, and my pets are the lights of my life! I have a 4 year old Siberian Husky named Moona who is equal parts crazy and cuddly. I also have a 3 year old Tuxedo kitty named Frayr who thinks he’s a dog, and follows Moona around everywhere. Last year, my husband and I thought we’d try our hand at chicken keeping and started our ever growing flock of 11 chickens and counting.

I am currently in the process of becoming a certified birth and postpartum doula!
