Heather

Meet Heather, one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians.

In your words, what is your job at Beaverton Pet Clinic?
I am a Certified Veterinary Technician. I am part of the team that provides medical care to your pets, which includes anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings, radiographs, drawing lab work, administering vaccines and/or medications, as well as providing comfort to animals that may be distressed during recovery or restraint for procedures, among many other things.

Why did you decide to work at Beaverton Pet Clinic?
A lot has changed in the years since I started over 7 years ago. But one thing that has not changed, which is a reason I continue to love working here, is the way we all work together. We all help each other, laugh, cry, and support each other in ways I haven’t seen in other clinics.

Do you have any pets?
I have one cat named Luna. She is about to turn 16 in September and still greets me at the door for belly rubs.
