Dr. Jason Dinh

Dr. Jason Dinh, DVM, received his Bachelor degree in Bioengineering and Doctoral degree in Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University. He graduated with his doctoral degree in 2015. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in bioengineering, Dr. Dinh chose to pursue veterinary medicine because as he puts it “I would have been bored being an engineer.” Dr. Dinh says that he could not have been happier with his decision to become a veterinarian. Dr. Dinh values the importance of educating clients about their pet’s individual health needs and building a strong relationship with each family.

An Oregon native, Dr. Dinh grew up in the Hillsboro area.
He started out his journey in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant before being accepted for school for veterinary medicine.
Dr. Dinh joined Beaverton Veterinary Clinic in June 2020 as an associate veterinarian.

Dr. Dinh’s medical passions and interests include preventative care and dental disease. He sees the value in preventing disease and illness early on, enabling our companions to have longer lives.
He also enjoys the individual personalities and unique traits in patients, and getting to know the families that are respectically owned by their furry children.

In Dr. Dinh’s spare time, he likes to spend time with his significant other and their fur babies. They both own a pitbull/australian shepherd mix named Lucas, and a min-pin/greyhound mix named Lani. They also share their home with their two cats Hannibal and Sparrow. Leisurely, Dr. Dinh also enjoys cooking, trips to the coast, hiking, and catching a Blazers game when he can.

Do you have any nicknames?
Nope!

In your words, what is your job at Beaverton Pet Clinic?
As an associate veterinarian, it is my job to advocate for their pets and further educate clients to provide the best options for their care. I am excited to help Beaverton Pet Clinic to continue to be innovative and continue our growth in our surgical services.

Why did you decide to work at Beaverton Pet Clinic?
Beaverton Pet Clinic will be my first private practice. My experience has been nothing but wonderful so far. I have great support from everyone on the team, and I am excited to continue my growth as a doctor. Our team is wonderful and so much fun!

Do you have any pets?
I have a pitbull/aussie mix named Lucas. He requires all the attention in the world but in return is the most loving boy ever. He is also a treat hog and does not understand the meaning of personal boundaries.

Lani, who is my min-pin/greyhound mix is a stubborn, blanket stealer but has come such a long way since adopting her. She will provide her services of licking you so much that you think your brain has been tickled slightly. Lucas and her are inseparable.

I also have two cats, a tuxedo named Hannibal and a snowshoe named Sparrow.

Hannibal is a big scaredy cat that loves to cuddle. He also has the smallest, most petite meow. He has recently decided that he needs to sit at the table like everyone else for dinner.

Sparrow is the loner of the household, completely content on wandering around and doing her own thing. She will come and cuddle on her own time and loves to lay on your face when you try to sleep.

Tell us a little known fact about you!
I am a Blazers fan and really enjoy going to games. I enjoy trying new foods and new restaurants when I have time. Lounging around the house and spending time with loved ones.
