Do you have any nicknames?
My nickname growing up was Doodles, and now most friends and family call me Daph!
In your words, what is your job at Beaverton Pet Clinic? Any special projects or responsibilities?
My job at Beaverton Pet Clinic is to assist the doctors and technicians during treatments. A big part of the job is providing compassionate care to each pet, and treating them as if they were my own. It’s important to me that each patient has the best possible experience while they are in the clinic.
Why did you decide to work at Beaverton Pet Clinic?
I could tell just from the job listing that BPC was a special place, and after my first phone call with Kim, I knew I wanted to work here! I had previously worked at a dog daycare, and was ready to move into a career that was more focused on the medical care and treatment of animals. BPC prioritizes proper veterinary training, good communication, and the group really does feel like a family. I love how we pay attention to what works for each individual pet and adjust our treatment style accordingly.
Do you have any pets? If so, name/age/description. Any special skills or fun features?
I have a five year old golden retriever named Casper. He is a nervous guy, but he tries really hard and has come so far since we started training consistently. I love photography, so I’ve taught him a lot of fun tricks like head down, paws up, and pose. He definitely knows how to work the camera!
Tell us a (or several!) little known fact(s) about you!
I am a Kristen Stewart super-fan. I have t-shirts, posters, magazines, you name it. The Runaways and Love Lies Bleeding are some of my favorite movies of hers.
