In your words, what is your job at Beaverton Pet Clinic?
My official title is Veterinary Technician Assistant. I am part of the team that performs the treatments needed for your pet. Some of these include collecting labs, giving vaccines and monitoring patients during surgical/dental procedures. Along with my technician role, I am also the clinic’s OSHA Safety Officer in charge of making sure everyone is working within the correct safety protocols. This ensures the staff as well as your pets are getting safe and reliable treatments.
Why did you decide to work at Beaverton Pet Clinic?
I was hired as a TA when I was working on my externship to become a CVT. I have been working here since 2021.
Do you have any pets?
I have a black cat named Moira Rose, and she is just as sassy as her namesake.
